- How to feel both engagement and relaxation
- How to coordinate breath, core, and pelvic floor during lifts
- How to reduce leaking, pain, or pressure during training
- Simple drills you can use immediately in the gym

## Who the event was for

Active adults and athletes Runners, lifters, and jumpers All genders welcome

**Train Stronger. Move Better. Protect Your Body.**

Leaking during workouts? Feeling pressure or heaviness? Struggling with bracing, power, or control under load?

The [pelvic floor](https://ateasephysio.ca/services/pelvic-health) plays a key role in lifting, running, jumping, and long-term performance—for all genders. This practical, movement-based workshop will show you how to train it efficiently, not aggressively.

## What We’ll Practice

- Rib cage breathing and pelvic floor coordination
- Relaxation strategies for over-tensioned athletes
- Applying pelvic floor control to squats, deadlifts, and dynamic movements

## What This Is (and Isn’t)

This is education and movement only—gym-appropriate and athlete-focused. There are no internal exams, and participation is opt-in at all times. You’ll leave with practical tools you can apply to your next training session.

## Led by Experienced Practitioners

This workshop is presented by [Susannah Reid](https://ateasephysio.ca/team/susannah-reid), our Founder & Physiotherapist, and [Michaela Toffoli](https://ateasephysio.ca/team/michaela-toffoli), our Pelvic Health Practitioner.
