## About Rachel

Rachel began her journey in [kinesiology](https://ateasephysio.ca/services/kinesiology) with a focus on **Exercise Science**, completing her _Bachelor’s degree_ at the **University of the Fraser Valley** in 2023. From an early age, she was immersed in sports, passionately engaging in _seven different team sports_ including soccer, softball, rugby, and basketball. Her dedication eventually led her to compete in basketball at the **PACWEST level**, though it was rugby that captured her heart, prompting a permanent switch to the sport.

## Treatment Approach

Rachel’s commitment to rugby saw her competing at both **regional and provincial levels**, where she gained firsthand experience with the demands of training and the challenges of recovery. These experiences, along with a _personal understanding of injury_, sparked Rachel’s interest in a career focused on **health promotion**. Her approach is driven by a desire to help others navigate their own health journeys with **confidence and resilience**, drawing on her athletic background to connect with patients and guide them through rehabilitation and performance goals.
