As Michaela says: “My goal is to assist you in fully understanding your injury or condition, to provide supportive therapies that enhance your recovery, and to empower you to take your health to its fullest.”
While Michaela specializes in pelvic health and women’s wellness, she also treats general musculoskeletal conditions and enjoys variety in her patient care.
Michaela’s Areas of Expertise

Having completed “The Female Athlete Level 1” course, Michaela understands the unique demands that athletic activity places on the pelvic floor. She works with athletes to:
- Optimize pelvic floor function for performance
- Address leakage during high-impact activities
- Prevent and treat sports-related pelvic injuries
- Support safe return to sport postpartum
Persistent Pain & IMS
Michaela uses a biopsychosocial approach to persistent pain, addressing the interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors. She provides education on pain science, nervous system regulation techniques, and tissue treatment through hands-on therapies.
Michaela is certified in Anatomical IMS (AN-IMS), an evidence-based technique for treating chronic pain and muscle dysfunction. IMS involves inserting fine needles into tight muscle bands to release tension and restore function, complementing her hands-on approach for lasting relief.

With recent training in Visceral Manipulation, Michaela can address how internal organ mobility affects your overall musculoskeletal function, providing a truly whole-body approach to treatment.
