About Susannah

Susannah Reid graduated with her Physiotherapy degree in 2018 in Melbourne, Australia, with a particular interest in injury recovery, digestive health, brain health, and nervous system function. Over the past five years, she has pursued advanced training through the Barral, Upledger, and Chikly Institutes, among others.

Susannah’s treatment approach integrates gentle, hands-on techniques with dry needling, visceral manipulation, and movement practice to help the brain change how patients move through their world. As someone who grew up with multiple sports injuries, concussions, and digestive issues, she continues to learn all she can about the body. Susannah loves empowering people and teaching them about their bodies as much as she enjoys learning.

Treatment Approach

Traditional Physiotherapy addresses muscles, ligaments, joints, and bones very well. However, it leaves much on the table regarding the body’s nerves, blood vessels, lymphatic systems, and organ systems—all key to our survival and often what our muscles are trying to protect.

Treating only the top layer of the issue will result in it resurfacing sooner or later. Assessing and treating these deeper systems gives more excellent and lasting results.

This approach taps into the innate intelligence of the nervous system to self-correct and heal.
